World Urban Forum in Katowice

TURKPOL Association President Dr. Mehmet Gokturk Iplikcioglu, representing the Board of Directors Tunc Meric, Projects Coordinator Fahri Akdogan and our association members, Mr. Cemil Arslan, Secretary General of the Union of Marmara Municipalities, and Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the Azerbaijan City Planning and Architecture State Committee, came together at the World Urban Forum.During the meetings with Cemil Arslan, topics such as better promotion of cities in Poland, increasing tourism potentials, supporting the work of municipalities on urbanization and development, promoting products and supporting international projects were discussed.Later on, Anar Guliyev and TURKPOL’s working fields, our members from the Turkic Republics, and thus becoming a non-governmental organization that acts as a bridge between the Turkic States and Poland, supporting all the works of Azerbaijan State and Non-Governmental Organizations in Poland, and It was stated that we are ready to work for any kind of cooperation.After the negotiations, it was decided to set a timetable for a second meeting with Mr. Arslan and Guliyev.
