President Nawrocki visits Türkiye's defence-industry stands at MSPO 2026 in Kielce

Polish President Karol Nawrocki visited the stands of Türkiye's Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB) and the company Aselsan at the MSPO 2026 defence industry exhibition in Kielce, Anadolu Agency reported.

SSB President Haluk Görgün briefed Nawrocki on the capabilities of Türkiye's defence industry and on cooperation between the two countries. According to the agency, Görgün pointed to the countries' centuries-old relations and their alliance within NATO, and said the aim is to move cooperation forward through concrete projects, exploring joint production, technology transfer and localisation.

Aselsan's chief executive recalled that Nawrocki had visited the company's technology base before.

During the exhibition Görgün also met Poland's Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz; their talks covered joint technology development and defence procurement.
